2024 has a new challenge:

Busted Foot. In September of 2023 I suffered a Lisfranc Dislocation, had surgery, and will probably never run the same way again... My goal is to run the Chicago Marathon as my 100th marathon.  I started running for Imerman Angels in 2011 and I have run and fundraised for them ever since! When I busted my foot, had surgery, and couldn't run the Chicago Marathon in 2023 it was heartbreaking and humbling.  I am working towards running marathons again.. well after I can begin to walk again. Whatever it takes, but whether I can run a marathon again or not, I want to support Imerman Angels in the same way that they support cancer fighters, survivors, caregivers, and previvors. 

I believe in the mission of Imerman Angels: Match Cancer FIGHTERS with Cancer SURVIVORS so that no one faces cancer alone. Imerman Angels' mission is that not one: patient, caregiver, friend, or family member has to face cancer alone! 

So donate what you can, share my fundraising site, or just tell someone about Imerman Angels; you will be making a difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.  Every journey begins with a single step.
