As many of you know, my brother Dan Pacer passed away on 11-29-22 after a courageous and relentless 3-year battle with Cancer.   We are devastated, but we are also at peace knowing he is no longer in pain and that he is with my Mom now.

I have decided to run the 2023 Chicago Marathon with Team Imerman Angels, in honor of my brother.   I miss Danny every second like crazy and still think it’s him texting me when I get a text notification.  But I know he wouldn’t want me to dwell on the sadness.

Imerman Angels meant a lot to Danny, as he was matched with a “mentor angel” during his battle with Cancer.  This organization does so much to make sure no one faces Cancer alone.

Imerman Angels is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide comfort and understanding for all cancer fighters, survivors, previvors and caregivers through a personalized one-on-one connection with someone who has been there. Imerman Angels envisions a world where cancer is not a solitary experience. Through its unique matching process, Imerman Angels partners individuals seeking cancer support with a "Mentor Angel" who provides psychosocial support and support to anyone facing cancer. It's my goal to raise as much as I can for this incredible cause and I’m asking for your help. Will you join with me by making a tax-deductible donation? It’s fast and easy to do, and many will benefit from your generosity.

Thank you for your support! Together we can make a difference.

Much Love,

Alison
